This indicator shows the state of highway lane miles in Florida in thousands (K). The State Highway System is comprised of interstates, turnpikes, and all other roads under the jurisdiction of the state of Florida. Lane miles are the product of centerline miles and the number of lanes on the road. This indicator’s data source is the Florida Department of Transportation's State Highway System Mileage Report and is updated annually with six to seven months lag time.
